This issue provides an insight into the mind of our founder Sir Ove Arup, with an essay on bridge design. It also highlights the importance of diversity and profiles our teams’ work in Northern Ireland and Japan.

We look at a range of our work in Japan over the last 20 years including the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, the NTT DoCoMo tower in Osaka and the Toyota Stadium.
