We are at the forefront of rail station design, working on significant projects across the world, from new low-carbon destination stations, highly efficient "kit-of-parts" stations, as well as station transformations and the renewal of aging station assets.

Our global experience encompasses stations of all scales and types, from metros to high-speed rail, and from suburban stations to the most complex and busiest urban interchanges. Arup’s rail team has a wide range of experience designing other important rail facilities such as train maintenance depots, station headhouses, and ventilation shafts, as well as commercial overbuild developments.
